What is a good app for remembering to water plants?
Arrosa keeps every plant in one place and shows which ones need checking today. Reminders adapt to your observations instead of following a rigid calendar.
How do I know when to water a houseplant?
Arrosa suggests an interval for each species and then asks you to check the soil. If it is still moist, the next check is automatically postponed.
Can Arrosa identify a plant from a photo?
Yes. Take a photo to identify a plant, add it to your collection and immediately see its essential care needs.
Is Arrosa free?
Yes. Your first five plants are free. Arrosa Premium then unlocks unlimited plants, photos, customization and additional widgets.

1. Controller and contact
Arrosa is published by Antonio Gonzalez Docal, Geneva, Switzerland. Contact support for any question about your data. mistergumart@gmail.com
2. Data stored on your device
Plants, watering dates, preferences, progress, journal, optional profile and settings are stored locally to operate the app. They are not used for advertising.
3. Plant identification by photo
When you choose photo identification, the image is sent to Google Gemini through Firebase AI Logic. Avoid including people or private information.
4. Optional iCloud backup
If enabled, your Arrosa data is stored in your private CloudKit database and processed by Apple under its own terms.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
Arrosa Premium purchases are processed by Apple using StoreKit. Arrosa only receives the technical subscription status needed to unlock Premium.
6. Notifications and diagnostics
Arrosa may schedule local notifications with your permission. Technical diagnostics may be sent to Firebase Crashlytics to improve reliability.
7. Security and tracking
Firebase App Check and App Attest protect identification. Arrosa does not use targeted ads, data brokers or cross-app tracking.
8. Retention, deletion and rights
You can remove local data from Arrosa’s settings or by deleting the app. Contact support for any data request.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated if Arrosa’s features, providers or legal obligations change. Effective July 26, 2026.
